Our new books have arrived. We used our Sponsor Read Money to buy them. Parents and Carers of our School raised over £600
We have chosen a variety of books that support learning at this stage.
- We have new books about friendships/sharing and tidying up
- Books about super-heros and power.
- Books on the environment – lots information books re different animals, plants and bugs.
- We have brought books on sustainability that will help teach children how we need to look after the planet.
- We have brought books that challenge stereotype and that teach children that we are all equal and that its ok to be who you want to be.
There are more book we also want to buy and thank you all so much for the sponsor money.
These books support EYFS and the Fundamental British Values which are;
- Democracy: making decisions together.
- Rule of law: understanding rules matter as cited in Personal Social and Emotional development
- Individual liberty: freedom for all
- Mutual respect and tolerance: treat others as you want to be treated.
Royal Albert Memorial Museum
On a recent trip to the museum we helped trial the new Beastie Bags!

Funded through the Heritage Lottery – What’s on your Plate?
A big thank you to all of you who came and supported this event. It was a wonderful atmosphere with over 250 people attending.
