Sustainability in our Nursery School

It’s becoming increasingly important for us all to be more environmentally aware and for us to teach children from a young age re substantiality and how to look after our environment. Sustainability is now weaved through our curriculum through our daily practice.

We have now obtained our Plastic Free School Award and are writing our Climate Action Plan.

RECYCLING – we are teaching children about recycling and they are encouraged to recycle from their lunchbox and use our recycling bins and compost.

BUYING – We don’t have limitless resources so we need to reduce, reuse, recycle.

We are lucky to have a highly skilled staff team who have helped us to upcycle furniture and toys.
